Nicholas Azadian, PE

Founding Partner

Nicholas is a founding partner at Ramirez and Azadian Analysis and Design (RAAD). His attention to detail and deep knowledge of building systems sets him apart. He has managed and designed a range of building types including high-rise residential buildings, restaurants, and laboratory spaces. Nicholas works with clients throughout the entire design process from feasibility all the way through project closeout.

Nicholas’ is an experienced manager and designer overseeing projects ranging from a 2,000 SF office to a 2MSF high-rise building. He has worked as a mechanical and plumbing engineer at premier engineering firms including WSP, Buro Happold, and STV. Nicholas has delivered projects in various locations including New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Chicago, and Washington, DC.  

Nicholas is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University.

Sana Azadian, PE

Director of Engineering

Sana is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience within the Real Estate and Construction industry in New York City.  She brings a multi-faceted perspective to her role of Director of Engineering at RAAD having previously worked for Real Estate Developers and General Contractors in addition to an engineering consulting firm.  Sana brings a unique perspective to our team as in Real Estate Development position, she was involved in all phases of project development, from conceptual design to construction administration, and has led multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver successful projects. 

In her role in Engineering Consulting, Sana has developed strong skills in both HVAC Design and Controls Design.  She has designed a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, hospitality, education, and life science. 

Sana is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New York.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Binghamton.
